I've already installed DNN and I'd like to install Active Directory Authentication.   How can I add this on once I've gotten past the install?

Click Downloads at the top of this page and scroll down until you find the Active Directory Provider. I'd also grab the documentation from this page http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Products/Development/Forge/Authentication/Downloads/tabid/852/Default.aspx

Thanks for the reply, now I'm getting this error:

Any suggestions?  I didn't manually add any extra lines or anything.

Hi Mike,

I have gotten Active Directory running on my site.  For my case I need to have the option of intranet/extranet access as you described in your AD Users Guide.  I have added a link to http://localhost/DotNetNuke_2/DesktopModules/AuthenticationServices/ActiveDirectory/WindowsSignin.aspx for everyone accessing the site internally which is working perfectly.  For external users I was going to request them to login manually.  This is the issue.  The account is not recognized.  Also, my login module (when the user clicks login on my page) does not have the "Windows Login" option as yours did in your Guide.  Any thoughts on this?

Check your web.config and see if there's another authentication line already in the <httpModules> section that's uncommented. If there is then either comment it out or delete it.
