I'm using DNN 4.6.2 and the AD module.  Everything works find inside my network.  the auto login works however outside my network it tries to auto login everyone that comes to my site.  I have tried to use the autologin ip address and I have put ranges in there and just one IP and it still tries to login everyone.  However if they try and go to the site a second time after not entering in a username it works fine.  I would like to either disable auto login so it doesn't redirect anyone to http://site/DesktopModules/AuthenticationServices/ActiveDirectory/windowssignin.aspx or make it so it doesn't redirect anyone with a public IP to http://site/DesktopModules/AuthenticationServices/ActiveDirectory/windowssignin.aspx

To totally stop the redirection to WindowsSignin.aspx comment out all instances of <add name="Authentication".../> in the <httpModules> section of your web.config.

As for the IP autologin I suspect that there's an appliance on your network that external users are going through to get to the website so they're hitting the site with an internal IP address. Try checking the Site Logs on your DNN install or your IIS logs to see if there's a common IP address that's showing up for external users.

Yeah that worked thanks!  I didn't see the second <add name="Authentication".../> in my web.config  I didn't have to change it when I installed it.  As for the IP autologin you where right my ISA firewall was showing all external traffic to my DNN server as internal.  Thanks!

In that case you can set your AutoLogin IP addresses to anything internal but the one the ISA firewall uses (unless all users (internal and external) go through that firewall).
