Hello all experts,

I setup DNN4.8.2 in a 3rd party share ISP company.

Thinking of letting my colleagues to auto-login that DNN portal from our company computer without prompting login, I tried to config Active Directory in that DNN authentication setting. However the Active Directory setting says "ASP.Net Full Trust is required to use the Active Directory Authentication Provider. Modify the web.config file so that the TRUST tag in SYSTEM.WEB has a level of "Full". "

1) So is that true FULL Trust is a must in the hosting server for Active Directory setup? 2) Any work around solution as the ISP company can only provide MEDIUM trust?

Thank you so muh in advance.

1) Yes it's true that's why the warning is there.

2) No there isn't and, really, the point is moot anyway. The only way the webserver is going to be able to authenticate users against the AD is to be able to talk to a domain controller and be part of the company domain. A 3rd party host is not going to be able to do that nor would they be willing to (make their server part of your domain if it was possible).
