Do you mean when you're using the Standard DNN Authentication? Just click on the Edit radio button in the top left of the screen.

Or are you using the AD provider (or another authentication provider)? With the AD provider the user has to be manually added to the Administrator's role.

Hi,

Hwn i create admin user. i have to provide him administrator roles manually. Otherwise I cannot see edit mode when i login. If i gave administrator roles to user , default mode is   edit mode.  Otherwise i have to click Edit mode radio button to take site edit mode.  I want do it automatically.  When administrator users login to site, site has to be Edit mode.

How can i configure it. Is there no option for this. I can change it coding level. Give me instruction which point should i want to change at coding to change this mode.

Check under Admin->Site Settings-> Usability Settings and try setting the default to Edit. Double check it to see what happens with a normal user logs in.
