I got the email (thought I'd replied that I had, sorry) but I've been busy trying to get some bug fixes done so that I can roll out another beta and get the AD provider submitted for testing. I'll try to take a look at it over the weekend.

Mike, Sorry to be such a pest, but did you get a chance to look into this?  I have not received any email from you.  Not sure if they are getting blocked by my exchange server.  Please let me know.

You're not being a pest Chhavi. Unfortunately I haven't looked at them yet. I've got a deadline of Monday to get the next version of the AD Provider submitted and I've been concentrating on getting as many of the bug fixes I can completed before that date.

Mike I continue to run into this issue even on DNN 4.9.  Were you able to verify that this is a bug with the way the Authentication Provider works and is there a resolution for this?

I wouldn't say it's a bug rather something that's not supported. The original providers (AD, LiveID, OpenID, Cardspace) had no need for SQL scripts to be run and that was what was coded for. I haven't looked at the DNN 5 code to see if it's covered for the authentication providers but seeing as modules/skins/etc are now installed using the package installer I would guess that they are.
