I have a DNN site that, when the user pays for a subscription to the DNN site, they are provided access to another external 3rd party site (non-DNN).  The external site needs some sort of verification that the user is allowed to enter their site by way of my site.  My DNN site is basically a simple pass-through site that simply accepts and processes the subscription payment which allows access to the external site.

It looks as though DNN will be able to handle the subscription/payment aspect, but how can I provide restricted access to the 3rd party site?  The easiest way would be to simply provide a link to the external site on a "Subscribers Only" page, but the link could possibly be bookmarked and would allow bypassing my site entirely.  Is there a fairly simple way for DNN to handle this, or do I need to look deeper into the DNN source to allow forwarding of the FormsAuthenticationTicket information?  I'm just getting started in ASP.NET and this is my "get your feet wet" project that I need to get figured out relatively soon.

Just discussed the issue with my boss who has talked to the 3rd party site's "people" and apparently they know how to make this work.  Hopefully they know how to integrate with DNN.  If so, and it's not proprietary information, I will post some info here.
