Hi Mike,

Sorry for the delay, I get the standard login failed error and the page is refreshed. I'll check the event viewer when i'm back at work, I'm in the UK and i have finished work now until Tuesday 1st July, i'll pick this up then. I do need to continue with this please Mike, and i very much appreciate your help.

To manually login with your AD account select Windows Signin and then enter your username as DOMAIN\Username and your AD password. I may not be around much on Tuesday as it's a holiday here in Canada but I'll catch you on Wednesday at the latest.

Hi Mike, back now. I looked in the event viewer and i get the following error:

Windows cannot query for the list of Group Policy objects. A message that describes the reason for this was previously logged by the policy engine. Event ID 1030

This error has not been happening all of the time i have had this problem and so is probably unrelated.

I meant the Event Viewer in DNN under the Admin menu (login with Host credentials as you sometimes get more error logs than you do as Admin).
