I’m searching options for a portal and one of the requirements of the project is that users can use Digital ID Cards to login.

The project is for a company in Spain, and here the government and some local administrations are expending Digital ID cards based on X509 digital certificates.

The idea is that a user can use this digital ID cards to login onto the portal. Is this possible with DotNetNuke?.

In it's stock state no it isn't but it would be possible if a provider was written for the cards. With DNN 4.6.2 it was made easier to write an authentication provider for DNN.
