Excuse me but I am a little confused. I have setup DNN 04.09.03 and AD provider 1.00.05. with no errors during the install. I created a dummie account called DNNTEST  in AD. This account is in a AD Security group called DNN_TEST_GRP and the pre-WINDOWS 2000 name is also DNN_TEST_GRP. I am able to login to my portal as myDomain\dnntest. My portal creates the DNNTEST account. Here is where I am confused. Will the Role be created also or do I need to create the Role myself. Thanks for your help.

You will need to create the role yourself. The user will be added to the role automagically, but the role has to exist for that to happen.
