I have configured the AD Auth. Provider v5.02 for DNN 5.1.2 based on my previous configuration, which was to create a login link in the footer of all pages that goes to my login page, where I have a login module on the page. However, this login module doesn't allow logins--type in your username and password and submit, and then all that happens is the page seems to refresh. I can login by going to http://[SITEURL]/DesktopModules/AuthenticationServices/ActiveDirectory/WindowsSignin.aspx, but it immediately logs in with my current AD credentials and I have no choice to change them. I need my login page to allow logins via either DNN or AD credentials, which it used to do (automatically using whichever made sense and not requiring the user to select which type to use). Any ideas?

Update with more info...if I turn on DNN auth too, I can choose the buttons that select the type of auth to use on the login page (like Windows or Standard) and either one works. So I guess the real question is how can I configure the login screen so that it accepts either auth in the same form without having the confusing button selection for users?

Rob, I'm guessing your previous version was below DNN 4.6.0. With the release of DNN 4.6.0 the providers were separated out into their own components which necessitated the need for buttons on the login screen. The only way I can see around this now is to create your own provider that acts as it did pre-DNN 4.6.0
