I need to modify the user Session time out because I have a new custom made Authentication provider. Where in the dotnetnuke code do I find the process that everytime a page is loaded checks if the DNN Session is still valid?

it seems like it in this pice of code (DotNetNuke.HttpModules.AuthenticationModule) I should modify BUT why is this HttpModule commented out in the web.config file ... see below .... is it because it is obsolete and has been replaced by better code? Then what is the better code located?

<!--

add name="Authentication" type="DotNetNuke.HttpModules.AuthenticationModule, DotNetNuke.HttpModules.Authentication" / -->

That's legacy from when the AD provider was built into DNN instead of a separate provider like it is now.
