Hi!

I'm no able to disable the feature for logged users to change associated user credentials (First Name, Last Name, Display Name, Email Address). Only 'User name' field  is no enabled. I want disable all fields in this nanage profile section.

Is it possible configure it? In other way which code change is needed?

That depends on what version of DotNetNuke you're using.

I'm working with DNN 05.02.03(74)

I'm working with the source version, so if it is no possible to configure by host settings I can modify the source code of the library if needed! The problem is where!

Thanks for any help!

You can remove those fields from the page by changing the following (all hard-coded):

In "DesktopModules\Admin\Security\manageusers.ascx":
- Add visible="false" attribute to the dnn:commandbutton-tag with id "cmdPassword".

In "DesktopModules\Admin\Security\User.ascx":
- Completely comment out the dnn:Commandbutton, having id "cmdDelete" (HTML-style commenting).

imageurl="~/images/delete.gif"
causesvalidation="False" />
-->

In "DesktopModules\Admin\Security\User.ascx.vb":
- Add this in the mentioned file, right under 'Select Case e.Editor.Name.ToLower', which in DNN 5.2.3 is at line 371:

Case "firstname", "lastname", "displayname", "email"
                    If IsUser Then e.Editor.Visible = False

I guess this should do the trick for you. If you only want the fields to be readonly, instead of completely removing them, you could try changing 'e.Editor.Visible = False' to 'e.Editor.ReadOnly = True', which should do the trick (haven't tested that, though).
