Hello,

I have been searching the forums but cant seem to find an answer. I have DNN 5.6 with AD authentication. We have many users that are not AD accounts. How can I manage those users? When I go to user manager there are no Add user and edit user options. Also I cant manager security roles for users that are no domain users?

I hope that make sense.

Your questions make sense but the problems don't. The user account section doesn't care/know whether the user is a domain or non-domain user so as long as your user has the correct permissions (administrator) you should be good. I don't have a mixed mode setup here at home anymore but I'll try to set one up and investigate.

How very embarassing. The problem I had was as simple as the page was in view mode not edit mode as host user. This appears to operate differently to the 4.9 version we also have running.

In 4.9 when I log in as host user and select admin\user manager I can edit/add users regardless of the mode I am using to view the page (edit or view).

In 5.6 it must be in edit mode to be able the add/edit user accounts.
