Hi Every one,
I am very new to this DNN thing. Here is the first thing i want to do.
Please let me know how should i start and proceed.

-We have WCF services that we are using for authenticating and authorzing our business content.
For our on of our project we have decided to use the same services . I have gone through some of the theoritical DNN stuff and they have a provider model implemented. They have provided interfaces that i need to implement for custom provider.

My question here is any one has done this before . How should i start and how much is the feasibility that i get all the features as page level and content level authentication and authorization.

Thanks.
Tabish

Totally feasible and what the provider model is for :)  Like you say, just make a new provider library that hits your service and you're pretty much done.
Best way to do that is to copy one of the existing providers and see how that is implemented.  I have done this against CRM and a cusotm db back end as well.

Thanks for the reply .
So like you said , i should create a provider library .
What i understand is i should start by copying one of the providers and do my stuff there. But i am still thinking about starting this and i am thinking that this will not start with a DNN module template in VS.

Secondly . Is there any best practice to follow for doing this.

Thanks,
