Windows Server Standard 2008 (x86) SP-2 / IIS 7
DNN Professional 5.6.1
AD Authentication 5.0.2

Hello..
We moved a development installation to our live servers.  We're using the AD Authentication for our intranet site.  When it was on the development server (same setup except Windows Server 2003 instead), we could hit the intranet site using IE and we'd automatically be logged into the website and see it.

Since the move over, this isn't working any longer.  We have to log into the site using our credentials in order to see the site.  The actually login process is working; we are still being authenticated and am entering the intranet site.

I have noticed though, when I go into the AD extension settings, I'm receiving the following error BELOW the Auto-login IP box.  I think this error may have something to do with what is occurring.  Thanks.. -Jeff

Error: is currently unavailable.

Jeff I feel you pain man.  I am in the same boat trying to get this working. I am going to start a thread of installation steps and we can hammer at till we get it fixed. Here is my thread with same issue.

I've removed (with delete files) and then re-installed the module and there is still no change.

I can configured the Domain Settings without any problems and authenticate with the domain, but am still receiving the error I entered previously.

Thanks.. -Jeff

Thanks for your link.. I'll have to keep an eye on your thread as well..

I think it may be some kind of Server 2008 SP-2 permissions issue.. Not exactly sure where or what it is, but didn't have this issue on our development box running Server 2003..

I've got it running on 2008 R2 at home so I know it works. That said, did you look at the stickied posts at the top of the forum? I setup my test AD install at home using Dan Ball's instructions.
