DNN 6.00.01,  AD 5.0.2, running on 2003 server & SQL 2005.

Activated AD provider and now, upon first visit to the site, windows prompts for login, cancel causes default page load to fail.  A subsequent visit does not prompt for login.

I do not want users to be prompted for login when they visit the site.  Login is only necessary for certain visitors, otherwise it is not necessary.

Can AD be activated without it defaulting this way?

Thank You.

Love it when RTFM is the answer.

l. Auto-login IP Address – If left blank then the provider will try to login all
visitors to the site. However, if you know the range of IP addresses or
specific IP addresses that you want to be automatically logged in you can
enter them here. Multiple IP address, ranges, etc. can be used as long as
they are separated by a semi-colon (;). An example string would be
“192.168.1.100 – 192.168.1.200; 192.168.1.1;”
i. 192.168.1.100 – 192.168.1.200 – Any IP addresses including and
between 192.168.1.100 and 192.168.1.200 will be automatically
logged in.
ii. 192.168.1.1 – Only the computer with that IP address will be
automatically logged in.
