Hi,  I've installed DNN_Auth_ActiveDirectory 5.0.4 on my DNN 6.1.4 site which is on a server 2008 r2 box with IIS 7.5 and sql express.

I've followed the guide to set it up for ldap authentication. When clicking login my users can select windows login and authenticate with the roles coming in successfully but I cannot get them to be automatically logged in.

I'm fairly new to this and it's slightly different to the guide but I have ran the 2 commands in the 5.1.4 release post, in IIS 7.5 I have drilled down to DesktopModules\AuthenticationServices\ActiveDirectory I then switch to content view and select windowssignin.aspx and switch back to features view. Choosing authentication I am unable to set only Windows Authentication to enabled as Forms Authenticaion says it is locked when clicked on. I tried modifying the extra commands to "%windir%\system32\inetsrv\appcmd unlock config /section:formsAuthentication" but after running this it doesn't seem to make any difference.

Is there anything obvious I am doing wrong?

Thanks for the quick reply, I came up against a bigger problem and think there may be a bigger problem with my iss or dnn installs which may be contributing to this, I'll resolve it before working further on the authentication
