I converted our intranet to use active directory authentication earlier this week. 2000+ users are working fine. However, I have just one account whose login will not work. The exception is listed below. What's odd is that the exception says "Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password.", but they don't get that message on the login page. It redirects them to the home page with a general exception. Of course, I've validated this user in AD, reset their password myself. They can log into other software packages that authenticate against AD but not DNN.

Any ideas of what I could look at?

I've heard of one other long time user of the provider run into this problem lately but in his case it came back with a message that the account was locked. Unfortunately I can't reproduce it and can't debug why it's happening.

I don't know if you have access to Visual Studio or not but the only thing I can suggest is trying to debug this yourself and seeing what's causing the error. Not what you're wanting to hear I'm sure.
