I am getting all the same error for these three authentication extensions, with below error message:
"A critical error has occurred. An unexpected error has occurred"

Belwo is the detail .NET exception message:
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.PageLoadException: Unable to connect to the remote server ---> System.Net.WebException: Unable to connect to the remote server ---> System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond

Could anybody please advise what could be the reason and how to fix it?

Thanks,
Tony

all of these modules rely on the ability for the webserver to make an external httprequest to the 3rd party authentication providers (e.g. facebook etc.) - it appears your webserver does not allow outgoing connections or else some upstream network device such as a router/firewall/proxy is not allowing this. You will have to get this changed or get an exception added to allow for these requests otherwise you cant use these versions of the modules -its possible for some of these providers to use javascript to do the auth check which means server-server requests aren't needed as the requests come from the clients themselves, but I don't know if such versions exist for DNN - unfortunately many providers (facebook in particular) change their javascript based options quite a lot so it was often not a good idea to use those implementations

Hi Cathal,
Thanks so much for below input, I will check with my site hosting provider.
I did successfully set up Google login on my another DNN site, on previous hosting service provider (previous version of DNN anyway).

According to the exception message, it does look like the connection from my web server to third party failed.
Just to clairy with detail description of the issue, the login was successfully re-directed to the third party (e. g. Facebook), after I login with Facebook account, it failure after Facebook tried to pass the access token and re-direct back to my site. Is it still the connection from my web server to Facebook?

Regards,
Tony

HI tony
You need to set the returnback url in the app you created in the social account.
Is this set already?

Thanks,
