I'm really not clear on just what this module can do (or how to set it up correctly).

I need my ADS users to be able to login using their ADS accounts (and have their DNN accounts created automatically) and all other (non ADS) users to be able to create accounts in DNN and login with those accounts.

Can this be done and, if so, what is this called in the docs?

At the very least I need un-authenticated users to be able to see the front page.

Sean.

Yes it can. You can set the authentication to talk to your AD. Domain users can login using Domian\Username and their domain password. Accounts will automatically be created in the DNN database. External users can register just like they do now in DNN.

My suggestion is to wait until DNN 3.2 is released with the Authentication module built into it.

Yes, i think that precisly what Tam module does anyway im developing a AD module myself with a lot of extras features when its done i publoish in Dotnetnuke.

PS: In order to work correctly the dnn portal roles must match the ad user  groups.
