Hi there,

First of all, I'm not so sure as what specific forum this post belongs to. I'm guessing this one since it invloves Roles ans Users.

I developped a module for an authoring portal that allows a user to create and configure other portals. I want the user to be able to visualize the newly created portals by allowing him to select a specific role from a list and automatically open a new browser window to view the portal with the appropriate permissions. So, for example, if he's created a portal for a school course, which has both a "Teacher" and a "Student" roles, he would then be able to select the "Student" role from a dropdown list and then click on a button that opens a new browser window where he would see the course protal with "Student" permissions. I'm not sure how to do that. I'm guessing it has something to do with creating a cookie for the new portal. Can someone help me on this? I'm using DotNetNuke 3.3.5.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
