Gday

We have been trying to install dnn as a school Intranet and have been having problems with 3.1.1 with the Authentication module and the new  3.2 authentication.

Everything is working  fine but for the Authentication.

When trying to update the initial details  with the Authentication module in 3.13 /  and when clicking on the Authentication link in 3.2 we are getting the same error on the web server.

Error

The Description for the EVENT ID ( 0 ) in Source ( .NET Runtime ) cannot be found. The computer may not have the necessary registry information or message  DLL files to display messages from a remote computer.

This causes the Application Pool to shutdown after 5 attempts.

Has anyone else had this problem?

We managed to solve  the problem  that was given us the above error.

The library package amlib   http://www.infovision.com.au/  wasonthe saem webserver.
When amlib is intalled it makes soem modifications to the dotnetframe work .

We found this has major effects on dotnetnuke as authentication will not run and the site also becomes unstable.
