I am currently using DNN 4.3.4 and the gallery module that came standard with that version.

I have created the gallery and albums but am not able to add any files to the albums.

Logged in with the host account I am able to select the 'add file' option when in either the gallery or a specific album. I am able to add a file to the pending file list - though I can only add one file, if there is already a file pending it will be replaced by any newer files that are added. When I press the upload button I am sent to a cleared add file screen and nothing is added to my gallery.

There are no error messages, any ideas?

I am having a similar problem.

currently using DNN 4.5.1 and 4.01 ? (latest patched version) of the Gallery module.

I can Add File ok, but most times when I press Update it does'nt work.

I noticed that it works sometimes if I shrink the pictures to under 100k. I mainly tried .jpg files, but had the same problem with .gifs.

It appears an error is occurring updating the database and generating the thumb nails, but no error message is shown and there is nothing in the Event Log.

I went into Settings and tried different values for the max upload size.

I tried the "Edit" page, but still could'nt see the missing pictures. When I get into the office I'll have a look inside the database and file system for the missing pics.

I have seen another reference that suggests the file upload is failing because the Gallery module can't build the thumbnails of the uploaded picture.

Where did you check the pic date?
