Aha, if I change my language to French on the site, I can see the photos. When I first access the site in US English, I get the error. After I change to French and the back to US English, it works fine. I suspect a date localisation problem here....

I'm guessing what's happening is that it is looking at my browser languages (in IE that Tools/Internet Options/General/Languages), which are en-GB, then en-US. You don't have en-GB (with date format jjmmyy) on there, so it falls back to en-US (with mmjjyy). When it tries to read the xml files, it will fail.

I know Tam/Chris are working on a DAL to move the XML files to the database, which should resolve these problems, since then the dates will be locale neutral. Hopefully this will be released soon
