Using Gallery 3.0.11 on DotNetnuke 3.2.2 there is a bug with the slideshow. Basically, the slideshow "starts" with the last image in the list, then fades to the first image. This bug has been there for many versions.

My fix for this is this. File: /DesktopModules/Gallery/Controls/ControlSlideShow.ascx.vb

Page_Load()  about line 152:

sb.Append("preLoad[i].src = Pic[i]")
sb.Append(vbCrLf)
sb.Append("}")
sb.Append(vbCrLf)
sb.Append("</script>")

' <NEW CODE BLOCK. make start be first image, not last >
For Each image In mRequest.ValidImages
  StartImage = image.URL
  Exit For ' only get the first one.
Next ' <end of new code >

ClientJavascript.Text = sb.ToString
(more code...)

I added this to Gemini to make sure I remember to fix it.
