Hi !

I had "admin" as the owner of the galleries that I created. I then decided to update it to have no owner, so that registered members can upload images.

So I went to edit the galleries, and in the owner field I click the red cross button, and the text box shows "not specified". I click update, and it returns to the galleries lisating, but an error message shows up:

A critical error has occurred.
Input string was not in a correct format.

When I go check to see if the change was persisted, the owner is still admin...

Any ideas on how to solve this ?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Owner is applied for private gallery only.

If you don't set your gallery as private, permission for upload module is based on DNN module settings.

Use module setting to assign Edit permission for roles which you allow users belong to those role can upload image.

We will investigate the error which you have found with changing owner

Thanks

Tam
