I can't seem to figure it out, only admin can insert new images in my galleries !!!

Could someone plaease help ? I can set an owner for a gallery, but I don't know how to set it so that any registered member can upload images. I have set the necessary permissions in the file manager, but still only Admin can insert new images.

Thanks ina dvance for any help.

You must give edit rights to the module to the roles you want to be able to add images.  You also have to toggle certain gallery configuration like is private and the settings that go along with it.  I will do a walk through when i get time to explain this a bit better for next release.

Is there a plan to break out the admin/config from the upload/add album functions..   so I as host can do the admin/config but users can manage it.

A brief summary of the plan:

Remove upload extensions and rely on those in the host settings.

Remove upload functionality from custom parts of the Gallery module and use the DNN file manager.
