I guess I'm having a hard time understanding why the gallery beta isn't being posted for downloads for everyone. There are so many other applications that release betas for the public to test, just look at all the code available on sourceforge. I'm not trying to cause problems but its time to let us all test it out. I don't understand the need to have people "sign up" for a open source project. With the ability to get free virtual software to create test enviroments why not just release it. We have the forum to post our bug finds.

Thanks Karl for your comments. The betas are Private Betas to limit the amount of support issues that may arise. Resources are scarce and that is a driving force.

There's also a release process that we are bound to. We can only release tested modules here at Dotnetnuke.com

I'm sure you are thinking that more testers will have an effect on the release quality, but you have to understand that at the same time many will use those betas in production, no matter how many warnings you make. This is a fact, just see how many threads and posts here deal with issues that come from the 3.0.11 and 3.0.12 betas.

In any case, when the time comes we will release a public Beta to a group of volunteers. If you want to help, stick around.
