Was wondering (well, my boss was actually) if the new gallery module will support the “Gallery Remote Protocol” which is usable by such things as the EyeFi card for image uploading.

Some info at:

http://codex.gallery2.org/Gallery_Remote:Protocol

Thanks,

Brian

Gallery Remote is a java based client for some PHP based gallerys.   Our Framework and Modules are .Net based. Spezified to the Gallery Module, it allows uploads via usergroups and is managed via .NET and MS-SQL Server.  Also "Gallery Remote Protocol" needs rpc access what I see as a secuity risk for the server.

The first release will not have any new features.  Anly porting to .Net 2.0 and fixing some bugs.
