I hope this hasn't been asked before... tried a search and found nothing.

I never wanted to use the old version of the gallery because I hate the way the "frame" (meaning the bluish colored rectangle with the yellow line in the middle) around each photo looks.  Is it possible to remove this frame or to skin it away? If not, please consider this a request for a feature enhancement.

Thanks.

JDG.

P.S.  I haven't experimented at all with the new gallery module, but I hope that, in addition to removing the "frame", there are other significant skinning opportunities with the module.

Hi Josh,

at time we didn't look to the existing templates and I am not sure if it is coded in the templates or is the frame hardcoded. We do no enhancement for the first release, so I would suggest to post it as a enhancement to the GEMINI (http://support.dotnetnuke.com).  For me this must changeable bei the templates.

Thanks and kind regards

Matthias

While the module is not completely skinnable (in the DNN sense), it is possible to use the themes to have different presentations.  Although all are "boxy", the blue frame can certainly be removed. Just look at the themes folder within the module folder.
