Hello,

I am using 4.02 dotnetnuke and latest BETA version of gallery.
I uploaded images from the server itself and used http://localhost/......as part of url.

It seems that the links to images are not stored as relative and are storred including localhost in it.

None of the images accessable from outside and when I look at the link I see localhost.

Is there a place I can do a change for all links to be stored as relative?

Is it something I am doing wrong ? What would bve the way for me to fix it? (code, sql, etc....)

Thanks

Mark

i was looking more at the problem and here is what I gathered:

1. the relative path is stored in XML and there is no localhost anywhere - this is good news

2. localhost keep coming up on all images links when accessing from the link http://ip/ and i in the host aliases I have the following entries in that order:

            localhost/virtual
            ip/virtual
            computername/virtual

Seems I cannot remove localhost from that list.
Could it be the bug that the first aliases is always picked?

Thanks

Mark

It's not a bug, you need to add corresponding hostheaders for the aliases so IIS resolves each of them to DNN and passes the host header. With your current config, DNN is in charge of translating the names, so it performs an automatic redirection to localhost/virtual.

Do you know the truth when you hear it?
