 Hello all.

I cannot upload video file types.

In the module configuration, the Media Extensions item appears empty and I cannot add any extension. By the way, I cannot modify the Image Extensions ether.

Then when I am trying to upload .avi or .mov an error appear saying: .mov is not an acceptable file type and I also have the movie value in the category: Image;Movie;Music;Flash.

Anyone have an idea how to fix it.

I have Gellery 4.3 over DNN 4.9

Regards,

Ricardo Carballo

The gallery module relies upon the installation's allowable file type extensions which can be set by the host user under Host Settings -->Advanced Settings -->Other Settings -->File Upload Extensions. After these have been changed by the host, it will be necessary to open the configuration screen for the gallery module then click "Update" so that the changes in allowable file types are recognized by the module.

Thank you William, for such a quick answer, this is a very nice module.

The only problem is that I cannot upload a thumbnail for the videos, instead, the windows video icon appear which makes it very ugly and low usability gallery.

I quess that I can make 1 album per video and make a prinscreen of the video and use it in the album icons to show it but my customers and I going to be very sad.

If there anyway to include videos from youtube in the gallery?

If anyone know how to fix this I will be appreciate

Regards,

Ricardo Carballo

Gallery cannot generate thumbnails for video files. It is not possible to show YouTube files either. You may want to add these as suggestions into http://support.dotnetnuke.com
