OK I give - what's the secret to editing the media extension set?  I can't find the info on this anywhere and have searched the forum repeatedly.  I can edit the image extensions, but nothing is showing in the media and it's all greyed out.

I'm trying to upload a MPG file - am I stuck only with these fat SWF files?

OK I changed the format to .mpeg and it uploaded - but the question is still open - how to change extensions, since the allowed extensions list is blank for movie?

File extentions are handled by the host user now.  You need to log in as host and go to the host settings menu then under advanced settings / other settings there is a text box for file upload extentions.  Just add all the ones you want to there.

The Gallery won't handle all of them though.  I think right now all that's being actually handled are mpg, jpg, gif anf png.  I could be wrong about that though.

Cheers,

Paul Davis

Yeah I added the appropriate extensions as HOST, but the problem is what you stated.  It's not being used in the Gallery module.  At least not that extension.

Thanks though
