Expected: When I click on the May 2005 link, I should see all articles posted in May 2005 alone.

Observed: The page shows articles posted in and before May 2005 (i.e. it also shows articles from April, March, etc).

I think this is a bug.

No it is not a bug it is by design.

If you click on may 2005 you see the first entry from this date and the count of entries which are defined in the blog module options (as default 10).
