Hi,

I'm wondering how the different blog sub-modules(list, archive, search, entry, etc) know about each others existence?

Thanks in advance,

rudgr

Hi Mike,

Thanks for the reply, that would make sense. The reason I asked this is because I'm experimenting with a test module that also places multiple (sub)modules on the page. The first module shows a simple list of items. The second module shows a list of months. When a users clicks on a month the list in the first module only display the items of that month. The problem is that the url to module page is something like:

http://localhost/DNN441/Home/tabid/36/Default.aspx

Since the module ID isn't present in the url I could search for the module id in the TabModules table using the tab id but then I would run into troubles when multiple module were placed on the same page.

I'm probably doing this way to complicated, there has to be a more simple way, right?

Thanks for advance,

rudgr
