The blog module is getting ready to undergo a huge rewrite. While the current version is satisfactory for many users, it lacks many of the features a modern blog system has. Are currently plan is to release one more release of the current code base, taking care of some bugs that need to addressed. After that release, we are going to start on a complete fresh version, using ASP.NET 2.0, from the ground up.

Thanks for the info Alec.
Just a suggestion about the next (minor?) release: why don't you make configurable the width of the textfields in the "add comments" section (ViewEntry.ascx)? At the moment seems to me that widths are fixed (style="width:350px;") and this may create problems with same Skin.

Another strange behavior is the "modify entry" ones: if I modify an entry it affects the date of the post.... i mean, the post appears the first in the order (resulting il a loss of the original post date).

Alessandro.
