Hi dnn-fellows
Here you can find how the Search section of the blog renders his context.
<!-- Start_Module_382 --><div id="dnn_ctr382_ModuleContent">
<table id="Table1" border="0" cellpadding="1" cellspacing="1" width="100%">
<tbody><tr>
<td colspan="2">
<select name="dnn$ctr382$Search$cboBlogSelect" id="dnn_ctr382_Search_cboBlogSelect" class="NormalTextBox" style="width: 100%;">
<option selected="selected" value="-1">All Blogs</option>
<option value="1">xxxxxxxxxxxx</option>
<option value="2">yyyyyyyyyyyy</option>
</select>
</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td colspan="2">
<input name="dnn$ctr382$Search$txtSearch" id="dnn_ctr382_Search_txtSearch" class="NormalTextBox" onkeypress="if (event.keyCode == 13) {document.forms[0].dnn_ctr382_Search_btnSearch.click();event.keyCode = 0; return false;}" style="width: 100%;" type="text"></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>
<table id="dnn_ctr382_Search_optSearchType" class="SearchOptions" border="0">
<tbody><tr>
<td><span resourcekey="optSearchType_Keyword"><input id="dnn_ctr382_Search_optSearchType_0" name="dnn$ctr382$Search$optSearchType" value="Keyword" checked="checked" type="radio"><label for="dnn_ctr382_Search_optSearchType_0">Keywords</label></span></td><td><span resourcekey="optSearchType_Phrase"><input id="dnn_ctr382_Search_optSearchType_1" name="dnn$ctr382$Search$optSearchType" value="Phrase" type="radio"><label for="dnn_ctr382_Search_optSearchType_1">Phrase</label></span></td>
</tr>
</tbody></table></td>
<td align="right">
<input name="dnn$ctr382$Search$btnSearch" value="Search" id="dnn_ctr382_Search_btnSearch" class="Normal" style="height: 22px; width: 50px;" type="submit">
</td>
</tr>
</tbody></table>
<!-- End_Module_382 -->
What did I see (And I've mensioned this also in other modules). There are so many hardcode set were a designer of a skin can't set what he wants.
The following hardcodes are set...
First
The table section. Cellpadding and cellspacing are set. Hardcodes that can't be changed.
'Keywords' and 'Phrase' have no css style. That means that these words have the standaard styles of the browser. Looks different in IE as in FF
The input (submit) button 'Search' have only a normal style for the text and can't be manipulated by a css style.
Please, please... give some css styles for the different parts so that we can manipulate this...
