1. How do I completely remove a blog entry??

2. I found the module.css for the blog module, so now I know how to style it -- but what if I want to modify the *.ascx files for the blog so things are placed differently etc., or get rid of things like unnecessary horizontal lines, not display certain things (e.g. the blog images and blog name etc. breadcrumb stuff on the same line with Comments), move Comments (#) to the left side, etc.??

3. How do I change the display of the individual blog entry pages?? Is it safe for me to modify the blog module's *.ascx files, or can I make new copies of the blog's *.ascx files and put them someplace where an update(s) won't mess up my changed *.ascx files??

4. This module really needs tagging in particular, this is a standard feature of things like WordPress, Movable Type, etc.

Thank you, Tom

Eid

Hello Tom,

Here are the answers to your questions in that order:

1. Click Edit Entry, then click Delete.

2. You can modify the ascx as much as you want - of course, you do so at your own risk.

3. I am not sure I understant the question.

4. Agreed.

Hope this helps.

My question #3 is pretty much the same as question #2 -- what files to modify to get the blog to display the way I want it to etc. I see I'll have to save the original *.ascx files after saving them as 'original' files etc. in the same folder.

Thank you, Tom
