In the archive.ascx control the <asp:calendar id="calMonth"> control is shown with a culture based upon the page's culture, on the other hand the <asp:datalist id="lstArchiveMonths"> control is populated with a culture based upon the blog's culture. This may cause the archive.ascx control to render in two different cultures. Is this strange behaviour to be fixed or it is considered normal?

i would guess it's an oversight. If you want to record it in the public error tracker @ http://support.dotnetnuke.com/project/Project.aspx?PROJID=23 , it will get picked up by the blog team who can look at fixing it in a future release.

Hi Cathal,

I would be glad to do so, but it seems that I do not have the permission to submit bugs for this project, since only the DNN Core Framework appears to be PUBLIC for my Gemini account. Hence I hope that someone with the required permission will see this post and will report this bug. Thanks anyway for your prompt response.

Best regards,
Dario Rossa.

Hi Dario,

I had the same issue a few months back trying to add an issue to the tracker.  To add an issue for one of the projects, we are encouraged to add the issue to the DNN Core Framework.  When you add an issue you'll have the opportunity to specify the module to which your issue relates in a dropdown toward the bottom of the form labeled Module Version.

HTH,

Don

Best regards,
Dario Rossa.
