I created a new page, and put a blog module on it.  It seemed to be working fine until I added two new blogs, and accidently gave them the same name.  Now I'm getting an ASP error message to the effect, at least I think, that the two blogs with the same name are messing it up.  I can't delete the blog.  I try to delete the page and add a totally new page, and add a blog to it, and it adds the same blog back, with the same two same named blogs, even though I tell it a new module.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Thanks

Hi Ideal_Airsoft,

adding two blogs with the same name works perfectly on my installation, maybe your problem is related to something else. You should post the Blog module's version you are using and your DotNetNuke version. Also check the Event Log for exceptions related to that module.

Best regards,
Dario Rossa

If you can post the error message you're receiving that might help identify why this is happening.  Incidently, I tried to duplicate this same scenario on DNN 04.08.02 and 03.04 of the blog module without success.  What version of DotNetNuke and the Blog module are you using?

Regarding how to solve this issue, I think this might be a problem that you'll have to solve through the database.  Of course, make a backup before you begin making direct changes in the database.

Thanks,

Don

Oops.  Sorry Dario.  I didn't see you had already posted.  I see we think alike :)
