Hi,

If there is more than one comment the Comments (4) appears over the top of the comments image in i.e.:

http://www.localparent.co.uk/Community/Blogs/tabid/804/BlogID/15/Default.aspx

In firefox it is fine but there are other formatting issues. I suspect most of my users are using ie.

How do I fix it so that there is no overlapping.

Thanks

Liz

Hi Liz,

once again the issue is due to the text truncation. A "span" tag has been incorrectly truncated in this case. To avoid this add a summary to the entry, or set the summary limit to 0 (zero) for no truncation at all.

Best regards,
Dario Rossa

Hi Dario,

Thanks for the replies to this and my other post. I have added summary text for both of the blog enteries on this page:

http://www.localparent.co.uk/Community/Blogs/tabid/804/BlogID/6/ParentBlogID/5/Default.aspx

However, it still messes up the formatting.

Thanks

Liz

Hi Liz,

at a glance it seems that the style class used for comments in module.css is overridden in your portal by the portal.css file. The original module.css should be:

.blog_comments_normal{
background-image: url(images/blog_comments.png);
background-repeat: no-repeat;
padding-left: 20px;
margin-right: 10px;
cursor: pointer;
font-size: 11px;
}

But in your portal it has been ovverridden with this:

.blog_comments_normal{
...
padding-left: 10px;
...
}

I suggest you to open Admin > Site Settings > Stylesheed Editor and revert to:

.blog_comments_normal{
...
padding-left: 20px;
...
}

Don't forget to click on Save Style Sheet when you'r done. Go back to your blog page and hit "Refresh", or F5. Let me know if you need further help.

Best regards,
Dario Rossa
