Hi,

i have the newsest dnn and bog module installed. Unfortunatly are most of my written articles mising, when visiting the site with ie 7 or ie 8. Using Firefox all of the entries ae visible.

Has anyone a solution or workaround to this?

Hi Chris,

thank you for posting the issue. I will assume that you are running Blog module version 03.05.00 under DNN 04.09.00. Could you please post an address for us to take a look at the issue? Based on your description it looks like a stylesheet issue, but a closer look is necessary to understand why the articles do not display under IE.

Best regards,
Dario Rossa

Hi Dario,

thank you for your answer. My Spam-Filter seems to eat the messages from this board :-(

i thought my system would notify me if new modules version are there so i didn`t know that there is a 03.05 and i am still using 03.04.

I will do an update first.

Cheers

Chris

Hi Chris,

forgive me for the delay, but I've been busy these days. Anyway I found the culprit: there's no bugs in the module behaviour or in the stylesheet management, the problem resides in the HTML you used in your entry, or in it's summary. Login as the blog editor, edit the entry titled Umstellen des Windows XP Product Key and check for these  tags:

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />
<meta name="ProgId" content="Word.Document" />
<meta name="Generator" content="Microsoft Word 12" />
<meta name="Originator" content="Microsoft Word 12" />
<link rel="File-List" href="file:///C:\Users\Chris_2\AppData\Local\Temp\msohtmlclip1\01\clip_filelist.xml" /></p>
<!--[if gte mso 9]><xml>
<o:OfficeDocumentSettings>
<o:RelyOnVML />
<o:AllowPNG />
</o:OfficeDocumentSettings>

FF ignores them, but IE seems to stop rendering the page when they are found. You will most probably need to switch to source view in FCK editor to see this. Try to remove the unwanted tags, and either enter a summary or leave the module generate one from the entry, and check if the issue resolves.

Best regards,
Dario Rossa
