When using the new SEO feature of the Blog (freindly URL) the system has problem handling "¡" and "¿" characters. I am reffering to the actual characters (ASCII 161 and 191). When these characters are in the title (common in Spanish) we get the "Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete." error in Firefox and IE not being able to load the page.

I could not report this on Gemini as I don't have permission to add entries.

The work arround the issue is to use the special characters set ¡ and ¿ but this is not intuitive to non technical authors.

Thank you.

Hi Fabrice,

thank you for posting the issue, and most of all for posting a quick workaround. I filed the issue on Gemini. You can see it here: BLG-8731.

Best regards,
Dario Rossa
