Hi,

my site has a separate page cointaining only the blog module. I would like to place i.e. the calendar /archive on the front page of my site, allowing visitors to see when new blog entries have been added - and then clicking on the calendar would bring them to the blog page. I suppose I will have to dig into the code to do this, but thought I would give the forums a shot first

Regards,
Sjur

I did something similar on my site and I regret it because now I'm stuck with it that way.

The best way would be to put all of the blog stuff on one page and then use the RSS newsfeeds module to show the top ten or so new posts on the home page.  That way when you start getting indexed by the search engines you can move stuff around and not have it break if you decide to change something down the road.

Cheers,

Paul Davis
