An error has occurred.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at DotNetNuke.NavigationControl.SolpartMenuNavigationProvider.Bind(DNNNodeCollection objNodes) at DotNetNuke.UI.WebControls.SolPartActions.BindMenu(DNNNodeCollection objNodes) at DotNetNuke.UI.WebControls.SolPartActions.BindMenu() at DotNetNuke.UI.WebControls.SolPartActions.Page_PreRender(Object sender, EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

This error in blog module View_blog section appears upon login as Admin. It errors on setting up the size of Summary and syndicate. Help to understand it.

Hi Fekadu,

thank you for posting. My understanding is that SolpartMenuNavigationProvider v. 05.00.00 that comes with DNN5 introduced some breaking news that do dot work with the Blog module. We'll take a close look to see if we find a quick patch that may keep compatibility with previous versions.

Hi all,

a temporary workaround to access Module options while we fix this issue with menus, is to browse this URL:

http://www.mydomain.com/Default.aspx?tabid=xxx&mid=yyy&ctl=Module_Options

Adjust the domain, the tabid and module id parameters according to your install.
