I have multiple blogs from different authors in a single organization.  I would like users to be able to view blogs by authors, by category or by date sequence.

In other words, authors view their blogs to submit entires or look at comments.  The default display for other users displays entries from a number of blogs in reverse date sequence (most recent entries first regardless of author or category) but gives them the option to select single content categories or single authors as filters.

Is this possible?  How?

BG-
Besides the features already directly offered in the BLOG module, you can often use a "helper module" to add custom functionality such as the multi-author lists you desire.  I often use a couple of different free "SQL" modules to suppliment features of the core DNN modules.

Check the example in the following post which shows how to add a (free) clickable "Most-Commented Blogs" list to yor site:

You can modify the provided example to create many variations of blog lists.  Check the homepage of the same site to see three different custom lists (all for the BLOG module) implemented in the same manor.

If you find the above post to be useful then you might also be interested in the whole series:
