Is there a way to sort blog entries by title, rather than last update?

Hi Dawn,

no, at the moment this feature is not supported by the module and neither it is on the road map. We thought that a web-log should be driven by a time dependant flow, and this is the default display option. A search engine has been added to search old entries by keyword as well.

Best regards,
Dario Rossa

If you have access to the sql server, you can modify the Blog_ListAllEntriesByBlog and instead of ORDER BY E.AddedDate DESC, you can make it E.Title

Of course, save the original stored proc safe somewhere.

Hi,

please note that this kind of edit to the database would permanently change the module behaviour, thus making the display of entries dificult when many entries are added. As usual, I would suggest instead  to create a custom module that "clones" the ViewBlog control and displays entries alphabetically. You can use a custom sp or even Linq if your server allows this.

Best regards,
Dario Rossa

Totally agree Dario. Not an ideal solution imho and one must know what he/she is doing with this approach.
