Hi!

I have installed blog module correctly. I am able to post a new entry, but if i use title written in Greek, then the Permalink generated is not correct.

Lets say the title is "Blog Entry Title" (in greek), the link to that blog post should be something like http://www.mywebsite.com/Blog/tabid/36/EntryId/1/Blog-Entry-Title.aspx but all I get is a http://www.mywebsite.com/Blog/tabid/36/EntryId/1/.aspx

Is there any way I can fix this?

Thank you a lot

Hi Nikolas,

I don't think that greek characters are allowed in the URI address, see the actual URI specifications for further info. You have two options to fix the issue with the permalink: you can enter a title using the occidental character equivalent, or disable SEO friendly permalinks for the module. Let me know if I can further help you in  this.

Best regards,
Dario Rossa

Thank you Dario for your reply.

I disabled SEO friendly permalinks as a temporary solution to my problem. I would reccomend to add one more field for the title for SEO permalinks, so the editor can add there, a title in english, but not affecting the rest of the post, only the permalink. Same feature exists on all blogging platforms.

Hi Nikolas,

yes, this feature is known as "slug" and we are already considering to include it in the next version.

Best regards,
Dario Rossa
