Hi Bala,

this is not possible without changing the source code. If you feel confident with coding, you need to add your bookmark data into this list:

[dnnRoot]/DesktopModules/Blog/ShareBadge/js/ShareBadgeChicklets.js

Then you need to open up the Blog project (download the source version) with Visual Studio and edit the file ViewEntry.ascx.vb. Add your newly added bookmark into the AddSocialBookmarks method, save your changes, recompile and make sure the newly compiled assemblies overwrite the previous ones in the website's bin folder.

Best regards,
Dario Rossa

Sorry if this is already covered in the Blog roadmap (which I haven't read), but can you XML-ize (is that a word?) or .config (or similar) this in a future release?  Seems silly to have to do a recompile to reorder/add/remove items from the list when the list itself comes from a text script file.

Thanks!

I just had an idea.  If you aren't comfortable changing source code and compiling, couldn't you just change the index numbers in the array that is built in [dnnRoot]/DesktopModules/Blog/ShareBadge/js/ShareBadgeChicklets.js (if you feel any more comfortable with that)?   The array items and order that are specified in the source code are: 7, 33, 9, 14, 17, 20, 27, 28, 31, 32.  Currently that would be del.icio.us (7), Facebook (33), Digg (9), Google (14), etc.  If you wanted Facebook first, then del.icio.us, make Facebook index (7) and del.icio.us index (33).  For that matter, if you wanted to add a new one, just use one of those ten existing indices (preferably commenting the old one instead of deleting or overwriting), amking sure to put in the correct URL, adding the icon, etc.

Would that work?
