I have recently upgraded to the new Blog Module and created a new Blog. When adding a new entry to the blog, the Rich Text Editor shows up just fine when using IE browser on my PC but if using Safari on a MAC it does not.   I am asking my user to try FireFox on the MAC instead and see if it is a browser thing or if it looks like mayby a MAC thing.  Any ideas as to why or is there a fix I can do to make this work?

I have since discovered this is more of a Safari issue and not necessarily a MAC issue.  We installed Firefox and the Rich Text Editor shows up just fine when using a MAC.

Does it work on the standard TEXT/HTML module?

I suspect that this is a limitation of the FCKEditor... not the module.

I am not sure what this means (about the FCKEditor).  Does that mean it should work for Safari?  Is there a fix in the works?

I have two people who wish to update my site and cannot because they use Safari on a Mac and would like to know what I should tell them.  They are not very technically inclined, so I don't know if they will want to install a new browser on their machines.

Any direction you can provide is appreciated.

Molly

Which DNN version are you using?

you might need to install latest version of the editor, you may download from here.
